Students will look at pictures of the design of voting booths. They will determine whether the designs are socially responsible, focusing on the issues of privacy and intimidation factors. After students formulate their ideas for a socially responsible voting booth, students will design a blueprint. Once the students have a blueprint, they will begin to construct a model of the blueprint.
As a class, students will help design and construct a voting booth. Once the voting booth is constructed, students will participate in a mock election to experience the act of voting.
